The following pictures were taken while climbing Mount Fuji on Aug. 23, 2000. My good friend Don and I began climbing at around 10pm so as to reach the 12,395 foot summit and watch the breathtaking sunrise; An experience that mere words cannot describe. Climbing this incredible mountain was certainly one of the most difficult things I have ever done. And as almost everyone who has climbed Mount Fuji says, I'm glad that I did it, but I don't think that I'd ever do it again!
